The University Counseling Center at Saint Louis University offers regular support group meetings, community events, and educational opportunities.

Weekly Drop-In Counseling

5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Tuesday, located on the second floor of Wuller Hall.

Garden Wellness Series

Manifest growth and your wellness.

Follow the growing season with us, there's always something to do! You can also enjoy our outdoor WellSPACE. The garden is always available for you to rest (and taste)!

Upcoming dates:

  • 3 to 4:30 p.m., February 5 - Wellness Day. Get plant starters going for the garden and start your own take-home herb. Bring your own cute pot or cup, soil is provided.
  • 3 to 4:30 p.m., March 5 - Regular gardening time.
  • 3 to 4:30 p.m., April 2 - Regular gardening time.
  • 3 to 4:30 p.m., May 6 - Study Day. Come hang out in the space, harvest something to snack on, and rest before finals. Drinks provided!

The UCC Garden is located outside between Wuller Hall and Xavier Hall. For more information, call the UCC or email guadalupe.murillowink@health.slu.edu or qian.sun@slu.edu.

Gen1 Therapy Group

An open, safe space for first-generation college students at SLU! You'll find a place to discuss your feelings, navigate the complexities of college life, and develop effective coping strategies with a group of peers with similar experiences.

This group will have bi-weekly meetings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays starting Jan. 28 through May 6 in the Busch Student Center, BSC 254.

  • Family lessons
  • Consent
  • Social relationships

Dinner with Friends You Haven't Met Yet

These events are hosted by the University Counseling Center. Limited spots are available; RSVP is required. Dinners will take place on the following dates:

Sober@SLU

Hosted by the Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC). This is a safe and welcoming support network for recovering students and their allies to make positive changes regarding their substance abuse.

In this group, students will:

  • Get help with their substance use challenges
  • Achieve academic, personal, and professional goals
  • Gain support in managing their recovery

This group meets from 5 to 6 p.m. each Tuesday in Wuller Hall, Room 224.

Monthly support group for Black women to explore challenges and shared life experiences in a safe and supportive space.
