We train excellent physicians

Saint Louis University's School of Medicine has a long tradition of excellence in medical education. We impart cutting-edge medical knowledge and cultivate compassionate, patient-centered practitioners who are shaping the future of health care.

Recognized as a Tier 1 Best Medical School for Primary Care by U.S. News & World Report, our commitment to excellence in medical education continues to be acknowledged at the national level.

At SLU’s School of Medicine, students don't just learn to be exceptional doctors; they become advocates for holistic well-being, ensuring that the human side of medicine remains at the heart of their practice. Grounded in Jesuit values, our students serve the community, and work for health equity and the well-being of our neighbors.
