Research Interests

I spend much of my time in the classroom teaching gross anatomy and neurobiology.  Interacting with students and seeing them grow, not just academically, but as human beings, is quite rewarding.  My research interests are broad and range from exploration of student study habits and how those relate to health/wellness, the use of AI in undergraduate medical education and anatomical education, use of unique contrast agents to allow visualize microvasculature in very fine detail, and investigation of anatomical variations in the nervous, arterial, and venous systems.
